Went to shop today and left body kit for them to prep and primer. Sunday going in to be fitted, molded and cut. Then Monday Spray and then tuesday pick up. Pics up by tuesday hopefully.

Really shouldn't remove the front crash bar. Should fit it around the bar. But hope to see pics of it on the car soon. I hope mine fits good. But i have to leave the bar on there other wise my bodyman wont paint my car and or put the kit on.

Well i know its not safe at all lol, But i just wanted to make sure i got the best fit i could.. i put it all back on yesterday before i took it to the shop to be fitted, cut, prepped, and painted. Well see how it goes with the pics on tuesday. |

not to be nosey, but, what is the distance from the front of the hood to the bottom of the front bumper, or from the lowest part of the high beam to the lowest part of the front bumper. I have hight requirements on my car. thanks a bunch!!

Got the car back today. They did a ok job on the paint and the kit. The front looks awesome though. Here are some pics.
      Dont mind the 94-95 turns i still need to get the right turns. Also dont mind the exhaust im gettin that replaced soon. Tell me what you think. |

eh, it looks badass until you see that fat ugly rear... I definatley woulda went with another rear option, something simple like a 404 rear lip... But all and all i think they did a pretty good job on the kit. Fitment looks pretty darn good, now all you need is a paint job that is all the same color and a black mesh instead. . . but those are all just my personal opinions....
What did they end up doing to the crash bar? --------------------  I am now a part of the ihavemorethen16gc club! |

Ya i'd like to know if they left it on? and also how much did it cost you to get fitted and painted? i'd like to know so i can try and get my bodyman to help fit my kit.

The kit doesnt fit with the crash bar on fellas. The only way you will be able to keep your crash bar is if you cut it basically in half. Then its still a tight fit. I took mine off. Didnt bother me.

anyone whos seen the video of the wrx station wagon being totaled after crashing at like 5 mph without a crash bar would never run any car they cared about without a crash bar..

Yeah the paint is a little different but that is due to paint fade. I am planning on a paint job this summer.
They did a good job with the fitment. The crash bar is taken off.. it would not fit with the bumper. |

Welp that sucks. Guess my front bumpers not going on. My bodyshop wont paint or put on the kit if the crash bar isn't on. I was told to shave the bumper to fit around it. But i take it that wont work?

No i mean shave the iner side of the bumper to fit around the crash bar.
And not to steal thread but does anyone know if i were to get a GT-4 crash bar would the zyclone front bumper fit around that? -------------------- |

After I sold the celi the new owner wrecked the front end on the interstate. Damage wasnt that bad. I dont think the crashbar would have helped any.
