half an hour (i wish), lots of swearing and cussing and 2 bloody knuckles...not bad for an old man!!! the right bracket was bent outta shape behind the bumper. i had a heck of a time lining up the left lamp and the threads were shot on the right side. almost like someone mounted the old lamp with the wrong thread (coarse vs. fine). anyway, they are bright and shiny and hopefully cut through fog like a hot knife through buttah.

PS they do look better than those stoopid neons that almost set my car aflame

hang in there gang the weekend is just around the corner !!!
i feel a Friday Night Blackout coming on.
i had a hell of a week producing the show on my own for the last 2 weeks. i am beat!!

It almost caught on fire??? What kind of neon was it? I've had streetglow for a good 6 months now with no problems whatsoever. I check them every now and then, but no issues at all. Did the whole install myself. Weird. BTW, fogs with that glow coming through the grille is pretty awesome looking.

they are LiteGlow Cold Cathodes (not "really" neons then, eh?) and i found the problem: bad/cheap connector!

i may just rewire the whole works and reinstall...they kinda grew on me (rice is nice!). i'd like to see both the fogs and the blues together. hey wadda u want-- my car is crap so i may as well tart it up a bit and let people point and stare and laugh (the world needs more laughter).

HAPPY FRIDAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thanks, they were. a great learning experience.

now to get to more serious things like the bodywork. i have a left fender to replace and the nose is in desperate need of a paintjob. hope i can finance some of this soon. apart from a few mysterious idling bugs and bushings clunking in the rear, the car runs sweet. the previous owner was not very kind to this car thumbsdown.gif . hope i can keep it on the road a few years and make the 6Celi community proud (a least not make it a mockery wink.gif ).
