Ahh there is hope for me yet. I just can't stand the sloppy rear of an MR2 or else I would just take the easy way and buy one. Plus I have been in love with the 6th gen since I first started looking at cars as something other than transpo.
The Mr2 is pretty but the 6th gen is the sexiest car ever made IMO.

I take it as you are swapped looking for those numbers. I'd expect low 14's unless you have some other major goodies to go with it. My MR2 friends run mid 13's and their mid engine launch will always own us FF guys. Good luck though. Please post you're times - I'd love to see a USDM 6th gen in the 13's still FF.
As for the tires they are pretty good but I can still break them loose. I have not taken them to the track yet but they do well on the street.

srtforums.com got FWD guys running like 11-12 second passes. I bet that Nik could get into 12 with some 9" wide slicks...

Please someone else post some N/A times for god's sake. I have no basis for comparison at all. No comments on my time other than my own - nothing.
Turbo times are welcome too. Just make sure you post slips so this thread doesn't get closed or whatever.
Well I have but to send off my MSD 6BTM for repairs and get a reasonably good street tune and I'm back to the track for my last N/A runs. I just wanna see the stock time of 15.6 before I start my 5S-FTE project and before the reliabilty goes to the sh*tter.
I will post those times as soon as possible - estimating mid june.

Not a 1/4 time but in autocross last weekend I pulled a 70.69 with no penalties at Packwood (scca solo track) I add a link to the results page when they upload the scores, I think I placed 2nd in my class with that time. 1st was a high 68 I think.

I wouldnt even bother taking something as slow as my celica to the track , i can just imagine everyone laughing as i record the slowest time of the day..........

ive been thinking about bracket racing....but im so embarrassed people will laugh not BEHIND my back, TO MY FACE!! LOL
Then again ive street raced a modded corvette so what do i care about people laughing (I got a screw loose anyway)...there were like a good 100 people watching then! TO THE ROCK I GO!!!! TALLYHO!

hey presure2 what was that other car that ran 11.3???well i'm planning on going to the track next week and tomorrow i'm scheduling a dyno run which would be approx. two weeks from now(or at least that's what the guy a motor sports dynamics told me)....oh yeah i have a 5s n/a with some light mods...wish me luck...

edit: forgot to mention i'm just planning to run high 16's ...don't really want to get my hopes up too high..

the car that ran an 11.3 was a highly modified (Street legal) Grand National running drag radials...crazy ****, there is a video in the DWG 06 meet thread of that run...its nuts

They just built a new drag strip (and drift course ) right by my house. it's not open yet though, they're getting the insurance and everything for it, and there is a guy who lives close-by who is fighting it because of noise. so it may not open at all... but if/when it does, I'll get a slip for you of a n/a 5s with light mods.
