penguininatux, i saw that you live here in Seattle. I dont have a 2 bar sensor for you, but try checking out PSTOC.com (Puget Soun Toyota Owners Club). There are a lot of Alltarc guys and MR2 guys on there, and everyone is really nice and willing to help out. Try a guy named Rix8, he might actually have one laying around.

Sorry for bringing this thread back to life, but I have a question for some of you guys. What is the A/F ratio that you should not exceed? What is the A/F ratio that you aim for, 14? Do you want a constant A/F ratio right across the RPM's.

Sorry if the questions are stupid, but I am new to the whole tuning side and dealing with A/F. Any good links to sites that explain this better.

Thanks.

you wanna be no leaner than 11.5:1 under boost.

any leaner than that, you risk detonation

I was just thinking today of a possible solution to the idle/low RPM rich issues you guys have with your SAFC II setups.....use the HKS Twin Spark unit, since they make a plug and play harness for the 3SGTE/5SFE/2JZGE. That would probably ignite the richness down low, and while it wouldn't fix the fact that its rich at idle it would at least be more willing to ignite the mixture.

Only bad thing is the price.....its almost $450 for the unit new, and $30-40 for the harness. For that price you could have EManage which would solve the problem the right way. wink.gif
