track only you dont really have to do much? What all do they do for your smog check in socal? Is there a visual check?

In delaware all they have is a sniffer test, and i ran rubbing alcohol through the motor to pass (its not that bad for it if for only a couple of minutes and it works like a champ)

The best thing to do is pay. There are plenty of small shops who will pass you for cash.

What kind of test do you have to pass in ur state man. I put in like 1.5 bottles at a quarter a tank of gas, then immediately filled up as soon as i passed. But dont bother unless all you have is a sniffer test.

The best way to do is search for a friend close by with a 7AFE (corolla/celica whatever...) Pay the smog shop some money and see if he's willing to swap cars during the test.
