Well, here's my problem. It started about 5 weeks ago and it just got a lot worse today frown.gif.
First time it happened like this. I get into my car, FAN off, Headlights off, car in park (its auto). I put the key in and try to start the car. All I hear is the following, one click (starter) and it sounds like it doesnt have enough power to turn over the engine. The battery is 100% fine. So on second or third try it starts cranking and the engine starts like its supose to.
Today I get into my car, same thing happends but instead of just sitting there and trying to start the car, I poped the hood and moved around the wires to clean up the connection's (battery -/+) and + on the starter. I got into my car and it started, but I heard some weird sound (sounded like starter didn't disengage and was running while the engine was running too). So I tried turning the car off by turning it off and taking out the key, but the engine was still running (probaby because starter was still moving it). So I jumped out and disconnected the (+) battery connection and turned off the car. Then I started the car again and it worked fine.

I would like to know, what do u think is wrong with my car. I first though that it was starter relay that is going weird, but then I didn't find any relay for starter. It might be that my starter is going bad, but it still cranks good after a couple of tries. Could it be my alarm, its not remote start so I guess alarm is out of the question unless circuit city screwed it up somehow.
Thank you

Replace your starter with a toyota remanufactured starter. Your starter contacts are bad. It also sounds like its sticking on. just replace it with a good one. Ive seen this a THOUSAND TIMES.

The toyota remans are just as good as the new ones. Also they wont stock a new one. Ive replaced a thousand starters with toyota remans and NEVER had a problem.
