Hey i got a question with aftermarket shift knobs. my buddy just bought a shift knob for his 96 celi gt, and although the box said "universal" it didnt fit on the car kindasad.gif i cant quite remember what the brand was, think it was something like "nykia" or something like that. the knob came with different plastic tubes that were numbered from 8-12, all with different sized holes and you fit them in the knob so the knob can be "universal" and fit on any car. but for some reason none of the plastic tubes fit on the celica. soo he ended up giving up and putting the knob on his girlfriends 96 civic, which fit perfectly. but anyways ive been wanting to get a new knob for my celica but after seeing that i was wondering if there are certain "universal" knobs that will actually fit the celica. maybe somebody can tell me some types that would fit. i hope this all made sense. thanks

I got a Greddy Counter Balance shift knob, I was tired of those "universal" knobs cuz they were never tight, and I take mine off often so i would get worse and worse.

So the Greddy is threaded for the 7th gen short shifter so its perfect!
