I remember reading somewhere that someone cut their strut casing to fit some Konis I believe.. Ive been looking for that thread yet I cant find it!!! Can someone help me out??

Punch supposedly fit KYB AGX shocks from a SW20 into his...I tried, however, and they do not fit...total waste of $300. frown.gif

I had to cut front and rears to fit my koni's in. But i used a cutter and took the top of the casing off about 2 inches down, Just below the nut. If you cut the casings you have to weld the struts in from that point though.

Yea I just learned that my neighbor did the same thing with his strut casing for his AE86.. hes using some SW20 tokico adjustables..

Got any pics of what they look like now?

this was over a year ago, And that car is long gone. I have a set for the new celica, But install will be a while.
