I've been thinking of getting one and finally decided t,. but for a different reason than most... I want a plate that is nearly impossible to read/memorize. I've been experimenting with a plate generator: https://dmvapp.state.nv.us/PlateAV/PlateAV_Input.aspx
And it seems I1I1I1I is the most... erm... confusing. I've also tried MNVWMNW, 7ZZ7Z77, MWMWMWM, and WVWVWVW. Anybody have any other ideas? biggrin.gif

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

Not sure if there are zeros in plates, I've only seen O. haha no crimes. I just want a tag people can't glance at and memorize. Plus I think I1I1I1I looks like a barcode from a distance... hardcore! haha

if you don't want people taking your plate numbers, you should try getting something without a pattern. the I1 idea is pretty cool, but maybe you should mix it up a lil.
anywho... off topic, but i just had an idea. we should get some 6gc.net license plate frames. anyone wanna get some kind of a gb together?

Good call, I'll try II1I1II. And I'd sport a 6gc.net frame! I've only been on this forum for a few days but it's easily the best car forum I've ever been a part of.

Straight from my personalized plate application on my desk:

"NOTE: Because of the similarity of letters and numbers, 1's and I's and 0's and O's are considered the same. EXAMPLE: COOL (with letters) and C00L (with numbers) are both considered the same word."

Granted, this is for Washington state, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if all states do the same thing.

Weird, I wonder why Nevada's generator accepts it? It will tell you if anything is unacceptable or not allowed. I know zeros don't exist because of the confusion, but there are two characters to represent I and 1. Hell I'll give it a try, if it doesn't work I'll try one of my other ones.
