i removed the lower console cover and the shift boot to clean around there, and i've driven the car without it on for a couple of days now. i've noticed that the whole white plastic frame that the shift lever is in moves a little side to side. i can't see any cracks in it, and the bolts are at least finger tight (i haven't tried to fit a wrench in there yet)
is this normal? or should it all be tight and solid? thanks! -------------------- ![]() do you know who i am, mr. worley? |

You mean when you are shifting from side to side? Yeah, they are mounted with rubber bushings that allow some movement.
