I would love an American muscle car...I've always wanted one. I guess since my car now is a Chevy Nova I would just want an earlier Nova. ( This one's an '86, so it's really a Corolla).
Hehe, I just remember the faces I used to get when I'd say "yeah, I have a Chevy Nova, but I ain't tellin you the year!" LOL... My dad had a T-Bird, does that count? -------------------- "I bet you drive a standard." "You could make some money off that bet." :D |

If you could have any old American muscle car..., what would you pick?
1971 Corvette Stingray V8, big-block 454, 365HP... did your Parents have one? not even by chance -------------------- No more replicas... This is evolution... This is SS-four :)

Yellow94GT, you have good taste. Topping my list would be a mid-year C2 Vette (63 Split Window or a 427/4 Speed combo car), a 67-68 Firebird, or a 70 1/2 RAIV Trans Am.

I never got into old muscle cars. There's a lot of unjustified hype surrounding them as actual vehicles (as is with most cars), but I understand the importance of the subculture to American history.
My dad used to have an old 50's thunderbird. Apparently it was his favorite vehicle ever until he got his brand new Tundra |

you guys are gonna love this one - not really a muscle car, but it was one of the most popular swapping cars back in its time......... 69 Opel GT w/ a SB chevy (350,383,400) - omg droooolllllllllll
Plus - My dad's first car was a late 60's, or early 70's Opel GT w/ a four banger and five speed, he makes me soo jealous This post has been edited by celi_gt_racer: Jul 23, 2006 - 12:04 PM -------------------- ![]() |
