Okay, Two weeks ago-ish I put my coilovers on. All is gravy and I am happy. Several days go by and all the little noises go away..Except for one that seemed to develop as the days went by. Whenever I turn my wheels (moreso to the left, but does it to the right as well) I get a clunking. I took my dad out on a drive last night to see what he thought, but it wouldn't do it. I had to come to a complete stop and crank the wheel back and forth to get it to pop and clunk.
Here is what I think... Maybe there is not enough lube on my strut bearings Maybe a CV joint is on its way out, or a torn boot... I don't see any grease on the firewall and around the engine bay, so I'm not sure of this option. Soooooo I want to re-grease my strut bearings, but I don't want to take the suspension apart, because that would be a b*tch. Can I drop it out of the strut mount and get to it without taking it apart from the brakes? Or do I have to dismantle everything all over again?
