Those should do you good. I'd be interested to see how you do.....may come up to E-Town for that on the 18th. biggrin.gif

I'm thinking about a set of Mickey Thompson E.T. Street Radials for ours, same size. I'm just wary of breaking something in the stock 5S Tranny.

yea, thats a good idea man.
between you with the MT's me with the BFG's and jeff with the hoosiers, we'll have a good idea of what works on our cars.
i wouldnt worry about the tranny...the one thing i AM worried about is axles.
if all goes as planned, ill be bringing a set of axles with me as a "just in case" thing. lmao.
zipper, hope you can make it man!

Well, I'm not going to have a set of MT's by the 18th unfortunately. I'd bolt up my 26x10.5x15 E.T. Streets but the wheels they're on don't have the right anything for the Celi. biggrin.gif

ahh i see....yea, i think those may be just a "bit" large for the celi..lol

a quick update:
got them mounted on the stock rims yesterday.
my 17" enkies + michelin pilot sport a/s 225/45's weigh 41lbs.
stock 15" rims and BFG DR's 225/50's weigh 39lbs.
i put them on, and with 30lbs of pressure in them, did a nice burnout and a few launches..
i had the camara with me, but i forgot to put the memory card in!!
needless to say, i cant launch @ 2000 rpm and expect to spin on these tires like the old falkens...lmao...i just bogged down. lmao...3000rpm was a little better, a little wheelspin, but not nearly as much as before, and thats with 30lbs in them! (bf goodrich recommends 14-20lbs for racing.)
initial impressions are VERY good, to say the least.
i cant wait to see how they are on the track! smile.gif

Glad to hear you like them!

Guess you will have to get used to driving your car all over again. Can't wait to see what they will do at the track!

the BFg's are great tire I have had both the BFG and the M/T ET street on my car and in my honest opinion I think that the ET's trac up alot better at the track,
BUT, at the cost of not gripping near as good on the street and they only lasted me 1/3 of the mileage that the BFG's did. Also the ET's do not grip at all if they come in contact with any water, as where the BFG's did grab OK if the roads get wet.

in short...
I think if you drive your car on them go with BFG
if you just trailer car to track or don't care about mileage and car hardly ever see's rain go M/T
just my experience

ok, so i went to the track last night.
these tires are REALLY nice, from what i can tell.
the track was well prepped, as it turned out to be a huge ford weekend thing going on.
i only got in 2 runs, so the results are still on the early side, but heres how things went.
first a little review.
i had previously run on falken ziex 512's 215/45/17.
with ANY kind of launch at anything over 2000rpm, i would get massive wheelspin all thru 1st and 2nd.

last night, on the first run, i set the tires to 18.5psi, i launched around 2500RPM, and basicly had no wheelspin, and i bogged.
ran a 2.366 60ft. time, which equaled my best 60ft on street tires. still horrible tho. kindasad.gif
2nd run, i lowered the pressure to 16.5, launched between 2800-3000, got a tiny tiny bit of wheelspin, and instantly bogged again.
ran a 2.317 60ft.
im hoping to get back up there on a wensday night, so that i can get more runs in, and try and get some better results.
overall so far, i am VERY happy with them, just need to get some more practice!
smile.gif

oh, and as a side-note. axles are fine!! WOOT!
hopfully they continue to hold! LMAO!!
