Car Clubs, who here is associated with one? Options

I was thinking of creating a new car club here in AR and I just wanted to know who here is part of one and I mean litterally? It would be great to have pointers, projects and names that most of you guys are in so that I can think of something. My car club name will be related to a drug name........

So far I have a few friends who are willing to join, some of them got turbos, and a few of them got JDM motors. We plan to use my garage as a home base for meets, fixes and ect. Cause my Garage is HUGE!

I was in a small/med size one and its kidna cool having a place you know you can hang, and having garage you know will be open and ready to work in. Not to mension its easier to get into big events as a group.

If ur going to start a club and want to be taken seriously at events please please please be selective about ur members. Also dont let drama get in the way. Alot of the time what I see happen is stupid girls in a club who start dating the guys of the club and it just gets to be drama. That or the president gets a big head and acts like the other members are his droids. But remember QUALITY OVER QUANITY!

a couple friends and I have a little club called Midnight Rydes and its fun cause we have little meets against the other clubs in our small town. lol and for the need for speed thing we have our own black list like on most wanted. we have a club blacklist and a citywide black list. its fun to be in a club cause you get exposed to more than just being by yourself in the spo-com community.

*edit* BTW isnt 6GC kinda like a car club? if we did consider ourselves as one i know we could get discounts at some places

I have a bunch of friends with all types of cars from Hondas to Toyotas, Nissians, Mazda, and Mitsubishis.
The club would be an all cars club but, we would have members who pays a fee to join and get the sticker, but then we would have our selective members who are the main heads in our club. Its not just a single president but a group of selective people who will be representing the main team. Its not the fastest car, but the most knowledge you can provide on your car.

i run and own a uk GSXR members forum...over 1200 users and its a pain in the ass big time! theres soo many drama queens its unbeliveable...and thats just the Admins..if your going to do it, make it exclusive, vet ppl b4 they join..make ppl apply for the privalige...we have meets/rideouts..last one had well over 50 people turn up..we are in the process of getting official Suzuki sponsorship..

This is sorta like a car club if you think about it. We could have different chapters depending on the states/coasts that your in/on or what have you! That'd be a lot of fun! Good times.

i used to be in one, called Fast Lane Imports.... we were all friends at first, then we joined this club that one of the guys started, and everyone just sorta fell apart after that, and the "head" guy was allowing sunfires & jeeps to put fast lane imports decals on their vehicles.... yeah, nice import....
