Hey Guys
I seem to be having a problem with my Celica.....when i pull away i can hear a knocking noise coming from the rear of the car...the faster you go the faster the noise gets. I had a look underneath the car and it seems to have two arms that go across on either side looks like tracking arms that are located on the front of the car....anyway i moved both arms and there seemed to be alot of movement and play in them...when constantly moving them it seemed like the same noise...however, i cannot be sure this was the problem. It looked like the arms had bushes located in them and i was thinking of replacing these to see if the problem would be resolved. Are the arms supposed to have excess movement? and would replacing the bushes solve the issue? or would i have to replace both arms as well? Could it be another problem? Thanks My car is a 96 GT manual model (UK) |
