car wont start, getting fuel, but not spark Options

it figures the other day when i finally was excited that my car wasnt ****ing up and only had tiny problems today it stalled out and now it cranks and does not start, we smelled the exhaust and it smelled like fuel so we assumed spark. i just bought a new coil, well a used one from mr2oc, but right now im kind of flustered because its really hot out and im already regretting bringing my car to school.

i guess i have to get a hold of a multimeter and test the coil and ignitor, but i wanted to see if you guys had any suggestions too.

btw i pulled off the line going from the coil to the dist and it was not getting any spark.
