The street is public domain.

As long as your car is satisfying all local parking regulations they can complain all they want to no success.

Now if it was sitting in your lawn and causing an eyesore, then, THEN (retardedly enough) they would have rights to file a complaint with the community.... but it's such a pretty car, how could they complain?

well it looks nice and pretty to us haha, but my neighbors might see it another way haha. It would be nice to get it up and running asap though, before any complaints start coming even if they can't do anything about it, i would rather avoid the drama. smile.gif

Kind of a dumb thing, any kind of neighboring influence that devalues your property is grounds for a [successful] lawsuit (for insance if you had seven rusty cars parked withing five feet of your neighbors lawn). I saw this a lot growing up in Wisconsin, where some farmer would put in a manure pit and the wind would carry the smell a quarter mile down the road and stink up the neighbors home, and in turn the farmer would get sued.

But I wouldn't worry. I live in downtown chicago now and there's a Subaru SVX that has been parked right in front of my building (the sweetest spot) for the past four months and it hasn't moved an inch. The car is still there, and no one has done anything (not even a key scratch).

i was kinda worried that someone backed up into the side of car, cuase from the reflection it looked dented in, but i can't even tell cuase the car has too many curves on it the reflections are all weird already haha.
