you could take a 4agze and switch it to turbo yes...but its just as much work...(4agze the supercharge is intake based...so you'd have to change out exhaust manifolds and intake manifolds and other parts)
so its just lots of work anyways

a cool thought of mine is to build a High comp. all motor 5s-ge w/ ITB's smile.gif ... you would have to go standalone and run 93 octane, and have a 1 off ITB set fabbed... but u cant say that motor wouldn't be "UNIQUE" biggrin.gif

lol 15 not 13.

i have automechanics at school so we got a garage and all the tools.

so i dont have 2 pay for labor and things would come out cheaper.

damn i should juss get an mr2 huh lol unless i find an old alltrac sumwhere that i could work on.

lol so who else is bored and wants to throw something "Random" in?

oh and btw, why does the 3s-fe in the 2000 rav4 feel more peppy than the 5sfe in the good ol celi?

i feel like it accelerates faster, gets power faster and all of that. i duno lol maybe it could juss be a feeling.

oh and the power steering feels lighter in the rav4 too.

The "Rav-GT4" has already been done - AWD even. The 2WD version with the 3s-fe already has an E153, so you can just put in and LSD, swap the motor to a 3s-gte (do NOT put the 3s-gte head on the 3s-fe - that's just stupid). Its just a 'simple' swap in either case for the Rav4, 2WD or 4WD. Uses the stock mounts and everything.

Why would you want to go a more expensive and lower power route with the 4a-gte in your Celica? The 3s-gte is about the same price, easier and has a higher power potention with much more aftermarket support in this country.

Like others have said, doing a motor swap in a Toyota is already unique enough... And what, the 3s-gte into Celica swap has been doing like 100 times now, total out of the hundreds of thousands built?

im leaning towards the MR2 idea.

mr2's are kinda cheap around here, i found one for like less than 4000 dollars, looks good too, not turbo tho.

maybe ill snag me one and drop in a 3sgte if it could legally be done.

cali sux xcore lol!

Something unique you could do is this:

Take out your motor, build it up with performance parts, lower the compression ratio, and install a GT28RS turbo kit, for high boost and drive it daily. smile.gif
