"it works for now guys. if you want me to get a wide-band so bad, then give me money for one. this offers a rough idea until everything gets solidly running and smooth, and i can get to a dyno. once i save up money, i can upgrade to a wide-band, but until then, you all will have to cope with what i have for my setup. i'm sorry that i don't impress you all, but i wasn't trying to." my oil leak is more important to fix right now.

for 4 psi your current setup is safe, but i wouldnt boost anything more than that without a wideband to monitor things, larger injectors, and a way to control the larger injectors as well as timing. something like an emanage or other comprehensive piggy-back (not a safc) would work well.

putting a turbo on the car is the easy part, making it run right is the expensive and hard part.

i just have to buy a new oil feed kit, 1.) because the the thread port on the flange ripped off, 2.) the line leaks oil where it connects to the end of the line at the swivel bolt. the other day i was driving it and it came loose from the turbo and sparyed oil all over my engine bay, so my car is in the garage and i have to clean up the engine bay, and wait for the part to come in the mail frown.gif

that happened to me , the large oil block that you used for the oil feed at the block i had one and after about 4 month of viberations the fitting broke and i lost oil pressure and all most all my oil kindasad.gif but with the gauge and sensor i was able to shut it down very quick and no problems biggrin.gif

thats a tricky question....

you want normal timing when you're not boosting but it slightly retarded when you're in boost. the stock PCM cant do that, infact if your car is OBD2 then timing is fixed and you cant mechanically alter it. if you have 2 bolts holding down the distributor you can manually retard it a little, no more than 2-4 degrees. even that will make it feel flat and torqueless off boost. start saving for an emanage or something similar to better control fuel and timing so that you dont break things.

i agree ,i have my timming retarded 3 degrees and when i am not boosting it feels very slow ( or when a coupler comes off laugh.gif ) but it feels good under boost biggrin.gif

GOOD NEWS!!! the part came in today,, so i got the new oil feed kit put on,, and i also figured out my wastegate and boost controller problem, so now the car is driving great, and i dont have to worry about it over boosting, i have it set at 6psi and its insanly fast!! compared to stock that is smile.gif i can beat my brother GTP in a race so im happy with it considering my bros car runs 14.8s in the quarter. so overall, iam very pleased with the out come smile.gif i will try to make some videos here in the next day or so!

i dont want to get in a whole he said and prove it debate because i dont have the slip any more but it was like he ran a 14.129 and i ran a 14.097 at 12.5 psi with my 370cc injectors in and it was running very rich so i only ran them that time and took them out until i get my emanage in wink.gif

very nice, im not going to say you cant run those times,, i was just curious as to how many psi it took you to get low times like that. after having my car turbo'd its very believable by my opinion. i just cant emagine running that much boost, mine is running 6-7 psi right now and its really fast, im just scared to run more cause it feels like the car will break, lol. in first gear anyway, other gears it feels alot better and not like it going to break.
