I was searching ebay and I found replacement lights for my front and side markers (1157 & 194). They are blue, red, white, amber etc. Are they legal? cuz i think it would be nice to have white bulbs in my euro turns. Or should I just ask the police when i get pulled over? laugh.gif

194 bulbs

If your sidemarkers are clear, then white would be illegal (I think) b/c clear corners blind other people, so you prolly get stopped for them. I just stuck led white lights into my amber sidemarkers. They are a nice shade of bright orange. Blue, def. Illegal, red, I'm not sure.

Or, if you do go for it and get pulled over, just say you were being patriotic with the red, white, and blue!

I have clear corners and sidemarkers with white LED's and havn't been stopped once, and the police around here are known to be pretty picky. but i always thought that it was legal to be amber or white, maybe im wrong...

every state i think had its own rules.

but i tink most, you are allowed to have amber, or white/clear in both the front and back

From my knowledge VA is an anal state for legality, like the no radar detectors allowed and helocopter police monitoring highways, etc. But i def will check with my state about it but I have ordered them so we'll see!

I have clear turns and side markers. Plus the clear part beside my projector, All them bulbs were replaced with Hyper white bulbs. I have never been pulled over for it, and have had them in for about a year now.

i have blue blinkers for my side markers and so far no cop has said anything but a buddy of mine has red underglow on his car and he got pulled over. the cop told him it that impersonating a cop was a federal offence. he said as long as your in the parking lot stopped its ok but once your rolling your done.
