I don't know how many other people wonder about this, but I'm curious on the weights of all the stuff. What is the weight of a coupe, a hatch? The weight of the GT and ST's? The weight of the 5sfe auto, 5sfe manual, 7afe auto, 7afe manual? Any info on this would be great. I think we need some more info on this site of the technical stuff about the 6gcs. I'll get to work trying to find what I can.

That wieght is way to high. That must be for a GT4 or something. 60/40 sounds about right though.

Thank you very much Hurley. I spent about 2 hours today searching for that info and couldn't find it.
Wate a second, it doesn't make sense that an ST and GT wiegh the same. Something is screwy here.

yeah in 94/95, I found that odd too... I'm guessing edmunds.com just didn't have enough info for those years or something

I bought a couple 97 brochures(sp) off e-bay the US one is as follows.

stcp auto 2475
stcp manl 2395

sthb auto 2495
sthb manl 2415

gthb auto 2640
gthb manl 2580

vert auto 2815
vert manl 2755

I guess I never noticed but the vert is the heaviest?
Seems odd.

I wonder what the lightest you could make an st while still retaining some creature comforts. (Mainly the front interior) I think it would be sweet to see a 4age sans a/c, sans ps.

There is a guy on here with that. I wouldn't think you could shave more than 200lbs from the car. That is a good bit though.
