shouldn't cars idle high (like in the 1.5-2k rpms) in cold weather? mine hasn't been doing so since i first got my car. i talked to my uncle (mechanic) and he said it might be due to the coolant temperature sensor not working?
is this right? what else would i have to look for to get it to rev high like it should during cold days?

some people would say it's better that it doesn't in order to save gas, but i'd rather have it warm up faster and use more gas.. cuz leather seats don't really keep you warm at all.
