ok i was wondering if someone could snap a pic of the bolt you tighten to tension the belt.

for some reason my belt tensioner is not running straight,, i think i am missing a small peice that goes ;inbetween the bolt and the metal bracket.. but not sure

thanks!

Is the nut that holds the pulley on tightened up? The bearing in the pulley may be bad too.

yes i can make the nut tight, but the bolt still slides out of the bracket, causing the tensioner to run cocked.. could be the bearing?..

my problem is i think im missing a peice between the bolt and the bracket.. maybe a rubber thing or something that helps hold the bolt snug in there.. its just pops out the side when i tighten it..

thats why i need a pic and i cant find a pic of the belt in any of my manuals or online..

ok well once again im just a space shot.. all i needed to do was tighten the bolt on the face of the wheel tensioner.. since that wasnt tight against the bracket the belt tension was causing it to move the tensioner...

she is good to go

thanks itchy and doc
