Ok, every day when I've been sitting at lights or in traffic with my foot on the clutch pedal, I go to let off the pedal and it bites immediately (no play at all) and the pedal only moves upwards about an inch. If I put my foot under the pedal and lift slightly then it springs back the remaining 3 inches it normally travels. When driving and changing normally it doesn't stick, and the biting point is about an inch from fully depressed, its only after having it depressed for a short while, whilst in gear.
If I don't have it in gear and depress it for a while then release it never sticks down. Any ideas? Is there any joints that I could lubricate that may free it off (inside the car or in the engine bay) |
