i ran open downpipe and boosted to like 12.5 psi on an open downpipe and that was the max i ever hit..

No, it's the frozen condensation that made the flapper door stick... Trust me, I know what I'm doing. I couldn't even budge the flapper door it was so stuck. I took a hair dryer to it and it ran like normal after it was all melted. Sorry, I've been sick. I had the trans way over filled so I drained some out. I've pulled the wiring from the ECUs and I'll be adding a couple wires to the ECT computer when I start feeling better. Otherwise nothing interesting has happened.

12MPG has motivated me to do something about getting this transmission to shift on it's own. I tried to send it an IGF signal and that didn't seem to do it. I downloaded the 90-91 camry EWD and it looks like the stand alone transmission controller isn't so stand alone after all. It still needs input from the engine computer that the 3SGTE ECU can't provide.
Next step is going to be either making my own transmission controller... not as hard as you'd think, or buying the PCS transmission controller (freakin' expensive for what it is). The only other option I can think of that may work well is to use the 5SFE computer to run the 3S and ECT while making corrections with an Emanage Ultimate. -------------------- ![]() Project ST204.5 99.88946% complete... |
