what do u mean it wont turn off? can you be more specific?

you can hold the play button for a few seconds and it will go into sleep mode, or hold menu and the center button for a few seconds to reboot it. other then that, there is no way to trun it off or on. it just goes to sleep. if these dont work, make sure your key lock is not on.

Take it back to the store. I don't have that problem with mine, though.

there is a system update for the ipod ... from 1.0 - 1.1 . it claims to contain bug fixes, so try installing that and it might help.

there is also a very small pinhole on the bottom that u can press to restart it if im not mistaken. 99% of these kind of devices have them.

If you have the 60gig you might rethink updating, there are problems with the update that dont occur with the 30gb.

I like to watch music video's on mine but I can't figure out how to just "play all".. its like after each video, it takes me back to the video selection screen.. I'd like to just have it either play all in order or do some kinda shuffle..

thanks!!

cool! But when you watch a music video, does it automatically go to the next video like when playing MP3's? or does it always go back to the video selection screen?

Thanks!

I think what you have to do is create a video playlist. Do that the same way as making a music one and they should play right after the other.

Does anybody else notice that even if your video is labeled as a "music video" it won't show up in that section? I noticed this before and saw that I had "Lazy Sunday" labeled as a music vid and it didnt show up in MV's or Videos so I just labeled it as a movie. I downloaded V1.2 software maybe this has fixed the issue.

didn't have much luck with those either.. I did a reg playlist and a smart playlist.. neither one would play the video's one after the other.. not sure what i'm doing wrong. frown.gif
