First of all its at most 96 one.

98 came with the Projectors / JDM tails + Risers / and all airbags and Red / black seats inside.

THis one looks totaly trashed and description is not acurate at all:

Drive 2WD ??? LOL

Wrong. Im trying to buy a perfect condition one from 98-99 years on normal Japan auctions (Japan car partner is overpriced / crap loaded website) for about 2 month now (after i sold 99 one to TomPoz), and no luck at all. Ussualy they go for about 10-12000$ in Japan if the Conditon rating is somthere near 4 grade (out of 5 max), i saw few sell for over 14K but they where with some aftermarket stuff (like rare TRD wheels, Tein SS coilovers EDFC and etc. and grade 5 of the car).

Even "four" with slight damage might be priced somthere near 8-9K$. Whats the price for witch you can get the 00-02 STi in japan with the slight damage on the body. So they are worth, and will be worth the $ few years still..

Most the cars in japan are really cheap.. How do I know this?

Take a look at where I am from... Lol

Common cars you see on the road here are skylines and celicas.. At least in okinawa, kinda sickning actually, you here about skylines being so big and bad but you come here and their a dime a dozen.. Makes you "Not" want to get one. At least with celica's you have alot more options to make it look good and have a nice feel to it.

I bought my car for 3500 at a used car place, it came with a varis body kit back and front bumper, custom blue paint job, momo ergonomic steering wheel and very very clean interior, I got a good freaking deal imo.. If you go to a lemon lot (military people sellin cars) you can buy a celica for 500-1500 dollars lol

Dont see too many gt-4's around over here though.. quite a few sII and a couple SIII's..

Yes, you can get cheap parts here in okinawa.. I got a rear Cusco strut brace bar for 50 bucks at upgarage (used) but its still hard to find the parts, specially since I dont speak freakin japanese and.. tbh.. The people here seem to be ignorant when you ask them a question, even when they do know english, its like they dont want to deal with stupid american lol. I have gone to so many junk yards and can hardly ever find a good celica to tear parts from. Its possible but rare, and aggravating because theres alot of people doing the same thing I am. So just because I am in japan doesnt mean its still easy to get parts! But yea, generally the cars here are way cheaper.. The reason being is because if they were to sell a car to america they have to upgrade it to the US standards, or vice versa (US has to upgrade it to US standards which costs a couple grand) and it costs alot to ship the car over here. So, their is always gonna be a good couple grand difference.

For instance, if I wanted to ship my car to the states.. The lowest I can do it for (that I heard of) is 5 grand.. and thats like bypassing some stuff, the norm is 8 grand I believe. Sucks, I am more then likely gonna have to junk it frown.gif Gonna rip all the parts out before I do though hehe

Grr

Shipping for one car from Japan to Eu (Lithuania) cost about 3500$ in a 20ft container wink.gif Shipping from here to US - 1000$.

If you manage to ship 2 cars in a 20ft container - shipping will be somthing near 1500$. If you somhow manage to ship 4 cars in a 40ft container - shipping for one car will be 1300$ (all these prices are for shipping to EU)

So i really think you should search around more while you are still in Japan, shipping isnt a big thing really. Im shipping cars from states and shipping alone costs 900$ for one car. Delivery time - 1-1.5 month.

Well, think about it.. I would have to ship it "AND" get it registered.. Even if I got some friends to ship their cars in a 40ft container like you said, I would still have to upgrade it in the states which is gonna run a couple grand more. Also, 4500 total to ship to japan to Eu and then to america? I have a friends dad that does the entire thing for 5000 down.. I wouldn't have to research anything but his is the most promising. 5000.. eh I could buy a celli in the states for that much or less, not including what i would have to do to get it registered in the states. So, why not just get my parts out of my car right now shipped for free from TMO and put it into a cheap celli (Im buying nothing but exterior and interior enhancements).. Buy a 3sgte later down the line in the states.

More then likely not taking the car back.. its not a smart choice.
