Ok I need options BAD. The dealer, napa, autozone, advance, NO ONE has a 6th gen Celica axle. What can I bodge together with a 5th gen and the other Toyota model parts? What outer does this thing take? Again RF axle. I think a Camry one might work.

5sfe, without ABS, Auto

Do you have an advance auto or parts america close by? If not, you can order them from partsamerica.com.

7-14 business days I was like you have to be kidding me. I think I can build one from the old 6th gen and the inner and tripod off a 5th gen gt/gts or a 4th gen gts. The local pull a part has like 8 possible Celicas with this axle.

pretty much... these cars aren't too common. which isn't all that great when it comes to finding parts for them. unless you seriously need to do the axle really really soon I would just wait the 7-14 business days.

It gets worse. That is now no longer an option. Advance sends nothing but the wrong part. There is 1 6th gen toyota axle in the country. There is a 3rd party that should be at my door tomorrow. If they do not fit I will have to part out a near mint 6th gen celica.

What country do you live in? I highly doubt there is only one in the entire country. worst comes to worst, you'll have to find somebody who is parting out their car (check the buying/sel;ing forum) and buy one of their axles.

i never had problems getting an axle with in 1 -2 days from any of the stores you listed. but, i have had a few places either give me the wrong axle or one that broke after driving for a few min. you just have to keep returning them, untill you get the correct one.

I have one for a M/T but the boot is torn. You would need to replace the boot and it would be perfect. The auto axle is about 5mm longer also, which really is no big deal if you want to use the M/T axle.

where are you located ?

They managed to find a Yota one somewhere. It is now in the car BUT the front engine mount bolts broke. I believe they broke about 2 months ago and not in this incident. So I have to go down there tomorrow and sorta all this out. Thanks to all.

So I called Kragen (shucks or whatever else they're called) yesterday and ordered a passenger side axle. Yep... got it a day later.
