Anyone had this problem before? Its happened to my car about.. 4-5 times so far but I could usually get it worked out after fiddling with it for about half hour lol, but now its gotten to the point where it doesnt want to come out anymore kindasad.gif

Tried turning the steering wheel real sharp, jiggling the stick in park and also shifting it every position imaginable.. (I got a automatic)

Getts stuck in the ACC position.. Not too big of a deal, I can turn it on and drive it just I turn the car off and try to remove the key, it wont go past the ACC position.. Just really annoying, hate leaving my key in the ignition.. I can lock it, just the only thing on my car that is on is my clock..

Think I might have to replace a solenoid or something.. Any ideas?

The cable that selects the postion the transmission is in may be out of adjustment. You can try pushing and holding pressure on the selector into park.

I had this same problem with my car at one point. I thought the steering lock was keeping me from removing the key from the ignition but it was the cable selector off the transmission that was causing the problem. I found that if the car was on an incline facing uphill, I could put the car in park and push on the selector until I felt the car "lock" into park.

Maybe this might help you.
