![]() If you were to pay someone to make a 4WD MR Celica, it would cost you 15,000 - 20,000 at least. HOWEVER, the MR Integra with the prelude V-tec engine is insanity and he gets MAD props for it. However the reason its more reasonable with a Honda is because they only offer 1 MR car and its the NSX. While I'm ranting about seemingly impossible swaps. The 26B. To BUY a 26B alone is roughly $10,000. Combining the rotors is the easy(ier) part, especially if you use 2 oil systems. However to combine the 2 engines you need a custom eccentric shaft and those are expensive. Really expensive. And the car will barely run most of the time because you've done nothing more than combine 2 engines and prayed that it will work. However if you want to buy a 26B it would be far more reliable especially since there are engineering firms out to replicate the 787's LeMans winning engine. They will probably be custom fabricated but they will work perfectly. Okay so hypothetical 26B aside the next problem is length. What's beautiful about the 13B is that its small, just small enough to fit into most crazy swap applications, which means you don't need to cut into the firewall (and therefore make the car illegal to drive on any roads) to fit it. The 26B is even a rough fit into an RX-7 sometimes, especially if you want twin-turbo. Then of course you have to source the rear end from a ST205. I guess the bottom line is money, both are possible really however it might be MUCH easier and less expensive to say... but the car that you're basing the entire swap around. ![]() -------------------- ![]() (\__/) (='.'=) This is bunny.
