organized religion is ridiculous, if you are a good person, you go to heaven, end of story.. all three major monotheistic religions now believe this.
i cant believe people still think there is some imaginary gold star system where you can only get to heaven with X amount of gold stars. |

How do you define between suicide and marterism? If ones belief says it is ok

that sucks. a kid that graduated high school with me committed suicide a few months back. it was weird cuz he was a pretty cool guy in high school... honor student, ran track, school spirited, people loved him. made me wonder if he actually commited suicide. they found him in his car with the engine left running inside his garage. now how easy would it be to knock a guy out, place him in a garaged car, and leave the engine running. but then again i never really talked to him after graduation. anywho... i'm catholic. suicide is a one-way ticket to hell. that's my belief and i won't try to change anyone else's.

They shouldn't. This isn't the dark ages and you have the right and need to make your own opinions. People must remember the Bible was influenced by God, written by men and translated by Tyrant Kings who used religion to control their people. There is bound to be some misinformation in there.
