Not to be nitpicky, but why is your fusebox exposed and looks like its been split in two?

To make room for the battery and cruise control, I'm assuming from looking at the picture and how its ziptied Since I do believe he wanted to retain the stock options. Or it couldve just been broken.

It was broken, I told 2slow about it but we couldn't locate one before finishing the swap, and it works for now so when he finds one it won't be hard to swap in. I don't know what that other shop thought they were doing breaking the fusebox in half!

i thought it was bad to mount the AFM on it side?
skewed readings from movement and gravity and the weight of the door and the strength of the spring. anyone?

Info to back this up? I've seen them mounted sideways a number of times and have never heard of a problem.

it messes with the throttle response because gravity helps pull it more open then it should be.

its spring loaded. if the spring is worn out i could see that, but its not.

it will be fine.

i guess its good when the little stuff is being nitpicked.

umm its physics even if its a brand new spring..

the force of the flapper <-> on the spring is less than
when the flapper is resting on the spring vertically.

dont even try to argue that cause i can break out all my nice physics equations for that smile.gif

and its the little things that matter the most........

its not that it wont work on its side. it will. but it works best when laying flat.
but i guess you would know better then people who drive their swaps on a daily basis and have tried this before. kindasad.gif
