MR-2 Spyder is a bangin car. Power to weight ratio allows the 1ZZFE to make the most of its smooth and reliable power, plus its great on gas.....Handling on the MR-S is considered to be the best of any MR-2 generation, and mid-engine cars are always a blast to drive. I had a MKI MR2 and that thing was awesome, I still miss it.
I don't think that loosing control is going to be an issue, you would have to either drive extremely agressively or carelessly through snow to have any issues with the newer MR-S's. Miatas aren't bad either, but I think theres more of a raw sportiness to ALL the MR-2's that is unparalleled. -------------------- 3rd gen ST205 3SGTE - Alive and boosting. |
