You can get one if you want..... search around there is a GB for a Lotek 3 gauge pillar.... its gonna be between $40 and $60. Im in it, and you can still join if you want.

I got mine from Summit Racing a while back and I think it was $25 or so. It didn't fit quite right, but a heat gun can solve that. wink.gif

Just curious: why do we need pillar guages since we don't have you know, turbos and all. What other applications can you use pillar guages for?

A quality oil pressure gage and water temp gage are the most important. The stock ones are worthless.

Heh...good idea. Plus when I'm at a stop light, people will see that pillar and think "man, he has the goods under the hood...better not screw with him".

I can't find the pictures I had anywhere, but it was a '93-'98 Supra dual gauge pod made by Autometer.

I use one for my exhaust temperature. Its a good measurement to have. Your exhaust temp will increase drastically if you start to overheat, but your oil/water temperature gauge wont go up for another couple minutes. It saved my butt once in my firebird!!

How does the exhaust temp gauge hook up?

I think you have to put an EGT(exhaust gas temperature) sensor in your exhaust piping, and then a wire from that will go to the gauge itself.

Im getting a apexi boost and egt guage for my swap but i was wondering what brand pods/pilar do i get to fit the guages. I think the apexi gauges are a little bigger than the autometer, so i would assume that the autometer MKIV dual guage pod wouldn't fit? Can some one fill me in?

Thanx
