So I went out to start my car this morning and all it would do is crank. I didn't have much time to mess with it so all I did was bridge +B and FP at the diagnostic port to see if it was the fuel pump. The pump ran fine but the car still didn't start. There were some strange noises coming from the FPR. It sounded like a hissing noise like a leak but I didn't see or smell any fuel. As I heard the hissing sound the return line from the FPR would kinda flex back and forth like it was being pressurized and depressurized.
I know this is a super lame description of what's going on and I know I should hook up a fuel pressure gauge to test it but I thought I'd throw this out there to see if anyone has any other ideas. I still haven't tested for spark and I haven't pulled the plugs to check to see if they're soaked. That's all on the list for tonight. -------------------- ![]() Project ST204.5 99.88946% complete... |
