how hard is it to ship a st205 engine into the US

Um

No harder than any other engine, provided you locate one....
You can find them through engine importers fairly easily....

ok sweet, cuz i was starting to think about emissions, and i heard that jap cars dont have egr valves, and i also heard the RB26DET skyline motor you cannot ship to the US but you can ship in parts, block, head, manifolds, turbo, etc. to get by the customs.

well you purchase "clips" from companies who import them so that isn't going to bother you any.

and the ST205 motor won't pass inspection/emissions in your car so you need to plan an alternative way to pass.
but this condition depends on your local laws/who you know/how much money you have smile.gif

I can't see it being that hard to fab something up, to pass a visual anyways.
UK ST205s came with EGR, so the parts and placement is there.
