My vote is for a GT-4 front conversion.

just a friendly reminder that:
a celica with non celica features is not a celica.. something Danny found out in his suprica project.
However a conversion is a nifty mod to one's car.

-finally if i was you I would print a few high quality photos of a curren from different angles and walk around and ask random people what do they think the make of the car is without revealing till the very end.

Based on my quick questionaire about 50 people I did ask thought that curren was (at least from a 45 degree front/side shot) that it was either an integra or a camry.

Good luck with either conversion.

that red curren looks pretty awesome, id go with that, if you have the skills, the connections, the money, and the time. the gt4 would be easier, and cost less i would think. btw plyr is that a recent pic, are you almost done?

I really don't get this Curren fascination kindasad.gif

It's like you're taking the Celica and taking away the features that make it different and attractive (the sleek pointy front end with those unique lights) and replacing it with a mundane front end that could come from any dull family saloon.

Dunno, maybe it's a cultural thing. I don't think anyone from the UK would ever want to do that conversion.

ah well, it would be boring if we were all the same wouldn't it. smile.gif

hrmmm considering the curren was never in teh US i think its you're cultural problem :neener:

and if you think my curren front on a hatch (which it never came hatch) will be mundane, well then my friend you still have MUCH to learn...

plus your car looks sloow and 6gcs are common anyways? lol

u don't get the curren bit, i don't get teh GT4 bit....but hey to eachtheir own smile.gif

Yeah i know the curren was not in US and i'm not trying to dis anyone's personal preference, as i said, everyone is different. and the hatch thing, i never thought about that as there are NO coupe celicas here.

I understand that you want to make something that is rare, unique even. smile.gif

and compared to many cars, yes, my car is slow. I'm happy with the 3S-GE though, where i live it's difficult to get upto crazy speeds anyway! MULTIPLE SPEED CAMERAS FTL frown.gif
