egh, unless you are massively trying to weight reduce your car i would say it isnt worth it, i wouldnt think theyd look good, it would put a break in the lines of the car...

Me personally I don't see what the big thing is with CF. I know if your trying to cut down the wieght that its good. But come on most of the people that are doing it are doing it beacuse its the hot thing to do. Really CF only looks good on black cars cause it doesn't clash with the color of the rest of the car. But if you want to go and do what everybody else is doing go right ahead but me Im not gona pay that kind of money for something that wont help me go anyfaster with this little slow engine that we have. I would rather put that money to good use like the 3s or the 4agze. But thats just .02

just a little FYI..... The CF doors are only the nissian at the very top..... the rest is just replacement lexan glass... not the doors... read a little closer.

also this is a really good idea... 200 lbs of lost weight is 1 tenth of a second off your 1/4 time... and rippin **** out of your car that you dont need...ex rear seats... doesn't cost nething

You could paint the CF so it doesn't clash with your colour, but I guess you would only do that if you were straight up into weight reduction.

Wonder what kind of weight loss you gain with CF doors?
Most cars will give fairly decent performance if you strip
out your luxuries (power window motors/ air conditioning etc)
I've seen kit cars which are no more than motorcycle engines
with a fibreglass shell and they move like s**t. I wouldn't
be comfortable with CF doors though, I've seen some of
the crash pics on this site and CF doors wouldn't make me feel that secure..

I don't know if I would feel safe with CF doors either. I saw a American Lemans Race one time where a Porsche 911 with CF doors got hit on the side, the door just straight up fell off after the impact. Crumple zones are there for a reason.

Carbon fiber doesn't shatter like fiberglass does when you get in a wreck, does it? If so, that'd be very scary.

I agree with neverstop. Take out your rear seats and stuff that you don't need to lose weight. I wouldn't buy those doors unless I was seriously into drag racing and had my 3S-GTE installed. And about the rear seats. Some people will be like why would I do that? Where are my friends gonna sit? Let me ask you something. Who ever WANTED to seat in the back?

Good call, everyone acts all shocked when you talk about it, but anytime you try to shove 1 or 2+ in the back they flip out.
