So, due to the HORRID things that have happened, and are currently happening to my car.. I have officially decided to get a NEW/DIFFERENT car. I am frustrated out of my mind about this.

I need a nice newer used car, for maybe.. under $10k? frown.gif

I was thinking a GTI, but I don't know. Suggestions? No american cars please.

there must be something wrong with it! thats is way too cheap. have a mechanic you trust look at it, if its good you're getting a heck of a deal!

That's what I'm afraid of.

Damn, I wish my 94 only cost me that much. It sounds almost too good to be true, but what would I know, I paid way too much for my car. You should go give it a test drive and check its fluids and look for leaks, and if it checks out, buy it. a 99 would be a bit of an upgrade, and you will still have a 6gc.

that doesn''t seem like a bad price to me. i paid 6 for mine and it's a 99 with just a little more miles on it in great condition. and as for vw's they are either really great or really crappy when it comes to repairs. that and they cost a ton to get repairs. go with the celi for sure! are you going to part out your old one if you do get a new one?

With a budget of 10Kish, I'd say look for a mid to late 90's lexus. It's what i'm doing, hoping for a nice SC or GS with under 80K to pop up wink.gif
