I could take some time and combine all my "Little turtle" threads laugh.gif
i don't even know why i started that?

I have taken into consideration the Diff differences, and I have started doing research on it. Gearing well I'll be having the W58 rebuilt and i think there is someone who will change the gearing for you (again i'm only very very shallowly into this right now) I've heard good and bad about this W58 tranny kindasad.gif I have LOTS and LOTS of research to do for the gearing and differential setup because of a few factors
1) this will be a road course car, so i need gears that will work for that
2) the car will have a pretty good sized turbo so i have to find an efficiency range and where the gearing will work with that

there is just lots and lots of different variables inside this project that will take many many hours of calculating, research, and trial

the other consideration i've though its just to use the rear from an AE but like i said i'm really just getting the tip of the iceburg here. the bellhousing is just my security step since its my achilies heal to the entire project. By no means will it be on the car in even a year. So please look forward to much more research posting of various information. and feel free to contribute anything. as well as good suggestion on that V8 celica i'll look into that.

The W58 tranny is an awsome tranny. What ever you do, dont get a W50...AE86 gear boxes are sloppy and weak. But seriously...W58 tranny, solid, heavy tranny. It can handel lots of power aslong as you have a good clutch.
