Why I love 6gc Options

Hey everyone. Here I go gettin all sentimental on ya. Ok recently I purchased a 2004 350Z that needs work. So I signed up onto a 350z forum to get my feet wet and start on my journey. And I see threads like this and I dont understand. On the second page the guy actually refers to his Lambo with a .... Are you serious? I guess I love 6gc for the down to earth and simple people. It's not about stature and who's better than who.... It's just genuine car enthusiasts... So, thank you Also, they make me feel really poor with all their fancy stuff!

total agreement with the remarks made by dustin15brown.



i joined 2 BMW forums when i bought the 540i. i though it would be like here-- tips, tricks, photos and respectful exchanges. no such luck. one forum treated me like some poor cousin and the other was all " hey-look-what-i-did-to-my-car-to-make-it-look-like-a-ricer". no exchanges, no replies to calls for help, NO SENSE OF COMMUNITY.



6gc is a web-based community. there is a large dose of humour and intelligence in everything debated. replies are honest and prompt. would it be otherwise i would not waste spend so much web-time here. this community has been helpful, supportive and entertaining. i have the sticker on my car and proudly i may add.



cudos aussi to COOMER who managed the site and to all the moderators who keep us in line.



one great regret is that my favorite thread has dissapeared again, because of the few (or the one) screwing it up for the many.

i definitly think this is a great site. i started out at with my 03 gts looking at celica sites. four celicas later, i made my way here. this site is bar none sooooo much better than any other celica site out there.. to be honest, certain sites are filled with just mean assholes and you get smart ass comments not answers to your questions. best thing of all is , all you guys seem like you really love and enjoy your celicas... thats what i want to be around. long live 6gc !!!!

I think that the way we act on our forums is mainly due to the type of car you have. I know the feeling about the cokcyness and b*tchiness of other people on forums. My roomate is on a few BMW forums and there are alot of cocky ppl. people ripping on other people because they dont like their cars or think they are better. But i think theres somethin with Toyota Owners besides AE86 owners *for the most part*. On all the forums I'm on for my 2 toyotas and 1 toyota i used to have, every one is really friendly and not cocky in the slightest. Only Toyota owners site im on that i get attitude on is DoriKaze.com because almost every one on the site is an AE86 driver and there are alot of people on the site who want AE's cuz they saw initial D or F&F: Tokyo Drift. But i seriously think its somethin about toyota owners. We are some of the most laid back people out there, we dont judge other people, we dont hate on other peoples cars or styles *or if we do we dont voice them*.


I seriously love this site, im on it sooo much more than any other car forum out there.

Yeah I think the reason a lot of other forums dedicated to BMW's and other nice, expensive luxury cars are so "my car's better than yours" crap is because a lot of people on those sites are either rich people or kids of rich people who will put 10k into thier car whithin a few months time and think nothing of it just so they can say that thier car is nicer.

seriously, my friend grew up hella spoiled and his parents always had BMWs, now he's leasing, yes leasing a 2006 Audi A4 that he's put like 5k into it already into a sound system and wheels and stuff which he's just going to be giving back to the dealership in a couple years.. ..but does he care?..nope, he just likes the bragging rights so he can keep saying how much "better" his car is.

edit: i forgot to mention, that's why i'm on this site soo much. because it's an actual community of people who love the same cars i do
