I've been researching and buying parts for my 5sfte project over the past few months but i'm still wondering if it will have enough power. I was just wondering if anyone out there with a 5sfte could post up some 1/4mile times, whp, torque, and top speeds. (and I was also wondering if anyone out there has turbo'd an automatic 5sfe?...... will the transmission even hold up?)

I'm pretty sure the top speed will be where you're redlining your last gear, which on a manual GT is right about 130 mph (don't know if the auto has different gear ratios)

Manny (presure2) has 235 whp/275 tq and last I heard he did a 14.1 second 1/4 mile.

the top speed is gonna be the same as your current set-up but you'll get up there faster. the gear ratios are different on manual and auto

Manny's car is capable of better 1/4 mile time ( in theory ) cars with similar power and similar weight get better times. Traccion is the key

Hm... well I have a few other questions for others out there with a 5sfte. I already have my ct26 and 3s manifold but i've been debating over intercooler size. I don't want to go to big and loose much needed boost, and I defanitely don't wanna go to small. any suggestions?

most people go with a 26x6x3 or somewhere close to that size.
