Venus Auto has a listing for:
96 up Toyota celica st205 3s-gte + 5 spd-awd-m/t (front clips) 245hp 96 up Toyota celica st205 3s-gte + 5 spd-awd-m/t + ecu + wire harness (motor set) 245hp 96 up Toyota celica st205 3s-gte long block 5 spd awd manual transmission My question is I have a 96GT. Im assuming this engine will fit but what about the tranny? I would have to keep my tranny or would i have to use this tranny. Will it connect? I read all the topics on swaps, but buying the right engine seems to be the hardest part. Im going to start my swap this summer, i was thinking of the 5SFE turbo setup but im thinking this might be the best thing to add some real power instead. Im not great with engine work but i think with the help of the 6gc community i should learn and be ok. What else would i need besides the engine, ecu, wire harness? |
