Doesn't say anything about Toyota buying Subaru. Toyota owns about 9% of the stock of Subaru. This is just a collaborative effort to produce more cars at the same plant.

I believe that Toyota controls Fuji which is Subarus' parent company.

I am so tired and pissed off with Toyota because they really not trying to go the extra mile (in both design and performance) and they seem to focus their attention on other things like literacy programs and other lobbying things to promote the brand.

For Christ sake, BUILD SOMETHING FUN for us.

No, they don't. I already said they own about 9% (8.7% to be exact).

And Toyota is dominating the world. They just surpassed GM as the most selling brand in the world. Their designs are winning over everyone. Look at the new Camry, the Accord doesn't compare. Hyundai is ripping off Toyota designs just to gain a foothold.

They are putting money to literacy programs and starting to build big trucks to win over Americans in the mid-west. The one area that domestics still rule. The new Tundra was built for this purpose, to compete with the F150 and Silverado.

They are opening more plants in the mid-west U.S. and donating heavily.

Seems to me they are doing everything right.

The Tundra has kinda been a flop (still looks good), but yeah they need to come back with the fun factor. they have the every other sigment of the market cover, expect for the hard core enthusiast. throw us a bone Toyota!! Fast, fun and reliable cars r what got u here. dont bail on us now!!! And please make the next Supra a car for the real guy, and not some $80,000 Lexus that should be a $30,000 Toyota.
