if you have a manual you're either going to have to use a relay or something to wire it to your neutral start switch (to trick the car into thinking the clutch is depressed when you remote start, and when starting it manually you still have to push the clutch in) or just cut the wires and connect them so you never need the clutch to start the car. I believe the neutral start switch wires are black and black/yellow (they are on my auto harness anyway, but a factory 5spd probably has no difference in wire color)
thats all I got, sorry I can't be of more help but I'm sure someone else will be ![]() This post has been edited by hurley97: Feb 6, 2007 - 11:57 AM -------------------- |

haha, yeah i eventually got it installed, i didnt feel comfortable leaving the clutch overide on when i would turn the key to start so i disabled that, was trying to rig up some type of circuity to get it to work how i wanted - start as is with the key (need to push the clutch etc) then still have the remote start work. i kinda lost time to work on the car n some other projects made it up my list of priorities so ive never really got anyhting figured out, i do however have lots of pics to someday when i get a 100% working system write a how-to for the path i chose to install it. thanks everyone for your help though!
mitchells is great, my dad has that n i have shop-key both great sources for info, i have shop key on dvd and its got everything ive ever needed for my celicas and was VERY helpful when i was constantly working on the dsm's -------------------- you know why they put sheep at the edge of a cliff.... that way they push back!
