I usually hate to start anything on politics, but im curious on this quetion based on a poll i saw on the news last night:
89% of those polled believe that Al Gore will run for president in the next election despite him saying on occasions that he is not. So here is the question: Based on this administration being as unpopular as it is (i making no comment on policy, this is based solely on popularity ratings) and the results of the last congressional elections, i believe the next president will be from the Democratic party. If Al Gore did run, do you think hell be a shoe in over the front runners Clinton and Obama? Discuss... -------------------- Its Orville's Celica, i just drive it... |

I don't believe Al Gore will run. He's much better off commenting from the sidelines, not being restricted by the burdens that one has as president of the US. In his current role, he can pretty much say and do as he pleases. I think he knows this all too well. Besides, adding a democrate to run for office would only spread democratic voters thinner in percentage, giving an advantage to the republicans. Right?

I wouldn't vote for any of them right now. None of these "hopefuls" has the American people's interest as the forefront of their goals. Everything is big business, so to me all these folks in the race right now just seems like business as usual. Maybe one is in this group that would do the job right. It most definitely is not the few that are standing out in the front of the pack.
When you see a Candidate that says he or she will Lock up and secure the borders & ports, win the war in Iraq and the up coming war in Iran, give the control of the wars back to the general's and field commander's hands (not the politicians), reduce our dependence on foreign oil, enforce illegal immigration, end the free trade agreement with China. Hunt down terrorist living in the united States, and not worry about who's feeling's are going to hurt while doing so. If you see one person step up and say these things, thats the person you should vote for. Everybody up there has special interest groups in their pockets right now. They are also afraid of not being politically correct. The only special interest should be on America. Not big business. This country is headed in a nose dive. If these issues are not handled with common sense & the American peoples interest at heart (which Congress does not have). This country will be a very dangerous place to live in about 10 to 15 years. PS: Al Gore is NOT the man for the job. This is not an argument just my beliefs. Please keep this thread mature -------------------- ![]() I will return one day. |
