yea i disconnected my alarm cause ppl had fun setting it off at my school.

does your alarm have a sensitivity setting?..you could just set is so its not soo sensative, that way if someone were to actually break into the car, THEN the alarm would actually go off, otherwise it'd be too low for anyone to set off just from like pulling the handle or whatever they did.

i rather be a slow turtle in risk of extinction, than a fast locust, that you can see everywhere and need to be terminated.

Several people have already said, if someone wants your stuff bad enough, they're going to get it. There's really no fail safe way to insure your car won't get broken into or stolen. BUT there's a lot of things you can do to make it less likely. Also remember that most of the time its just thieves that are looking for something quick to steal; very rarely are people actually out to steal your car. Here's what I did. I've got a customized CRX (know for being one of the easiest cars to jack) with a nice engine swap and sound system. So I got an alarm ($70) with a visible blinking light and vibration sensor, and wired it to my doors, trunk and hood. I locked my subs to a strut bar(no way is it coming out), and wired a kill switch to a place no one will find it. ($30). Needless to say, of course it's not fail safe, but for $100 I feel much better about the safety of my car. wink.gif I'm also thinking about getting a steering wheel lock just for good measure. Suffice to say, don't let being scared about someone stealing your stuff stop you from customizing the car. Just spend a little on security and hope no one takes a particular fancy to just your car. tongue.gif

a nice little trick is to install your headunit/speakers/etc with hex screws because 9 out of 10 times your stuff gets javcked with a flat tip screwdriver.
