aww, whatcha talkin about man, i think that lip is awesome, best i've seen for the gt4 imo.

I said that lip looks really good on the GT4 but not on a preface-lift bumpers that I've seen on the C-one website.

Its a 100-400L 4.5-5.6 IS, I still haven't really got much of a chance to use it,
but it is nothing short of incredible.

There is something about the richness of the colors that I just can't get with my 28-135.

^this is a true statement. new glass altogether is just plain good. i cant put down my 1.8 b/c the clarity of it is > than my kit and zoom lenses. i was recently looking into some new glass and decided that i am going to get a Canon 24-70L f2.8 and a Sigma 70-200 f2.8. time to step up the glass game haha

I have been wanting to try some of that.
1.58k with the filter.
I ordered a monopod and tilt head but still need a tripod, my
old one will barely support my camera and kit lens .


Hand held, way to long of shutter for the focal length, but I am a pic whore so what the hell.lol

i would assume it to be very heavy on the hands without a monopod haha.

i can see why you got that lens, sports photography, and the vast area you live in...the lens is perfect for that.
if i had the cash i would probably get a 1.2 prime or something.

i am going to go out 2moro and take some shots with my 70-300 and compare the quality of the lenses.

yeah its a 40d. I really like it, but in a couple years, I hope to buy
a full frame. The new 5dmk2 slated for release in nov is amazing
from what I have read.

i like ti alot, but i think it has too much haha. 1080 hd video? for that price i'd rather buy a Mark III. i think they are about the same price

thanks I can't wait to really get some good car shots with this thing, I took
some football pics tonight and they were amazing. The monopod came in today, and
it makes a big difference.

I agree the ride height is fine, this isn't a honda forum where you gotta drag your exhaust on the ground.

Lens looks nice.
