 spark plugs & wires question |

What kind of benefits am I looking at when I upgrade my spark plugs & wires? I need to do a general maint soon and I figured I'd get some new plugs & wires while I'm at it. I found some NGK iridium & platinum plugs, I wasn't too sure what the difference is, there's only a $5 differnce to a "full set" of plugs, if that helps. Thanks for any input!
