I pay $140 a month in Massachustees for full coverage. In Chicago, it would have been $140 for me for just liability. I'm 21 no accidents and no tickets (on my record).

He he Cities are always higher cause there is more chance of theft and accidents dispite how good you are. In Australia most companies go by area codes, and if you live on the wrong side of the street insurance can actually double.

Damn, you guys pay too much in insurance. Mine is about $900 a year for full coverage w/ $500 deductible and free glass replacement. I've even had 3 tickets in the past year and a half. But I have multiple cars and multiple policies. I was under my mom's name with the same company for about 6 years until I got married. Definitely ask about discounts like good student discount and clean driving record, also multiple policies. I use Allstate. Everyone else quoted me rates twice as much. I had my car broken into and had my two rear side windows replaced with no hassle either.
